What a good cybersecurity assessment actually delivers
Not a 200-page PDF. A ranked list, owners, and a 90-day ladder you can fund.

A useful assessment answers three questions: what can an attacker actually do in this estate, what would that cost the business, and what is the smallest set of changes that removes the most of that cost.
If the deliverable is a scanner export, you were audited by a tool. If it names unpatched CVEs without saying which ones sit on internet-facing paths, you were given homework. CyberSafe assessments map identity, cloud, email, and exposed services as one surface, then rank.
The readout should be briefable in 30 minutes. The appendix can be long. The first page cannot.
